The pride of our community, our schools provide not just an excellent education for your children but a surprising degree of choice about how and where they are educated. Richland School District Two is one of the fastest-growing school districts in the state.

On site within the community, Lake Carolina Elementary Lower Campus is preschool through 2nd grade and Lake Carolina Elementary Upper Campus housing grades 3 through 5.  The Kelly Mill Middle School is grades 6 through 8. In addition, the Lake Carolina Early Learning Center is also on site in the Town Center and meets the needs of young children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.  

Outside the community, your children may also attend Bridge Creek Elementary, Blythewood Middle School and Blythewood High School.

In addition, the District also offers magnet schools for students with interests and talents in science and the arts. Lastly, Lake Carolina has a growing community of home-school families.
