The Lake House to Host Shagging on the Shore

With a seating capacity of 100 and a total capacity of 300, The Lake House is available to rent for a variety of events and functions: weddings, birthday and anniversary parties; family reunions, barbeques and picnics, sports team banquets, club and organization meetings, civic groups and corporate functions.

This Friday, The Lake House will host the annual Lake Carolina “Shagging on the Shore” event, with an outdoor dance floor and live Shag music from The Fabulous Kays. “The response from our residents has been tremendous,” said Lake Carolina event director Julia Burley. “The guest list is full and we have a waiting list of people who would like to attend!”

The facility includes a catering kitchen with refrigerator, sink, microwave, dishwasher and food preparation area; outdoor grills; a beach volleyball court; boat and fishing dock; kayak rental package; indoor and outdoor fireplaces; patio furniture; indoor/outdoor sound system. Renters are welcome to bring their own food and beverages or hire professional caterers.
