Jeep Rogers Family YMCA

Lake Carolina is proud to serve as the home for the Jeep Rogers Family YMCA. Named for Mr. Jeep Rogers who directed Y activities at the downtown branch for 59 years. The 50,000 square foot facility opened in late 2007 on a 12.5-acre parcel located adjacent to Kelly Mill Middle School within Lake Carolina. The Jeep Rogers Family YMCA offers a complete lineup of activities and programs for the whole family including sports, strength and wellness, health screenings, tennis, and childcare.

For more than 150 years, the YMCA of Columbia has provided safe and caring environments, positive role models, creative activities and opportunities to serve the needs of others – the essential building blocks for strong kids, strong families and strong communities. The YMCA is a community-based organization, founded and run by community members.
