LAKE CAROLINA REPORTS HOME SALES UP BY 11%

COLUMBIA, SC - May 14, 2009 -In most every sector of the economy, given the current conditions, very few businesses have been able to avoid the devastating blows that have affected the economy. Through these rough times, Lake Carolina, a master planned community in Columbia, SC, has been able to turn bad times into good. Lake Carolina is pleased to announce an 11% increase in sales so far in 2009. Pam Arnold at Lake Carolina just celebrated a $2 million dollar month.

We have already experienced 62 sales for 2009, which is higher than what we experienced last year at this time. Lake Carolina is currently home to a 200-acre recreational lake, over 30 miles of walking and jogging paths, resort-style pools, tennis courts and a state-of-the-art YMCA. Lake Carolina recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary and there's even more to come. The development team has slated to create even more amenities including a dog park, activity areas for volleyball, bocce ball and horseshoes, and a lakeside retreat complete with a lake lodge and beach area which will be the hub for water sports like canoeing, kayaking, sailing and fishing.
